One Bishopsgate Plaza is a mixed-use 43 storey tower in the City of London comprising of a hotel and residential apartments. For most of my time with MSMR architects, I was part of a team responsible for the interior architecture of the 160 apartments, towards a stage 3 submission and start of stage 4. During my time with the project I was handed responsibility for small design packages, assisted in detail drawings, intend-drafting for sub-consultants and part of interior design reviews and client meetings.

The Happiness Research Institute Ticket - Do your job

The Happiness Research Fairground MArch at SSoA

A project exploring the interface between the mental state, architecture, technology and capitalism, sited on a disused railway viaduct in Sheffield. A satirical dive into contemporary society and its relationship with technology and data production, presented as the physical narrative of a science institute and its research fairground.

a Live Project: The Zest Centre MArch at SSoA

Working live with the Zest Centre, a local community, health and wellbeing centre in Sheffield, this team project identified possible design solutions through co-designing with its users and provided appropriate documentation targeted towards specific funding sources for the centre.

co-design through community events, workshops and client consultation towards a design document for funding schemes

re-imagining the centre with implementable design changes towards coherence and better functionality

a Hull of 2156: An Orbis Tertrius MArch at SSoA

An investigation into the architectural drawing and its relationship with fiction. The project uses a visual methodology as research to investigate Hull within the next 400 years, unravelling the findings through the narrative of the never-concluding investigation itself. Submerged into an unapologetic Orbis Tertius of floods, floating structures and algae infrastructure.

the narrative: overpopulation, algae production, catastrophe and the new cultureleft:a worker at the printers, right:a Hullite enjoying an algae snack

masterplanning around the re-purposed tidal barrier, now a food bank for algae snacks. New infrastructure connecting the floating dwellings with the Gaul 1972 restored and re-purposed as a memory logging device in an attempt to recreate Hull’s lost culture.

a Architecture ‘In-Transit’ MArch at AHO, Oslo

The quick-fire projects seeked to creatively explore the interface of urbanisation and architecture in emergency and mass displacement scenarios. Images below represent investigations in the Deir al-Balah Refugee camp, Gaza and in the Tempelhof airport, Berli from live situations.

reinvigorating the lost fishing culture of Deir al-Balah through repurposing unused materials towards a pier of floating, readjustable, anchoring units

creating the “[UN]-wanted city” outside the poorly made emergency housing in Tempelhof. An agglomeration of functions of secondary nature as protest-architecture against the dehumanisation of refugees
