Dr. Purushottam Bung is an engineer with a rich experience of around 25 plus years in Academia and industry (domestic and

international). He has a rich entrepreneurial experience of around 10 plus years in the food processing industry. He is on the

expert/advisory/editorial panel of many Institutions, Universities, NGOs and journals. Dr. Bung has presented and published 17

research articles in national and international refereed journals.

Dr. Bung was conferred with “Enterprising Academic Leader of the year (South India)” as part of National Education Excellence

Awards in 2018. He was conferred with “Distinguished Educator” award in 2013. In 2015 he was awarded as 'Best Director of a B-

school in Karnataka' as part of education excellence awards – 2015. He is member of many Associations and Institutional bodies.

Dr. Bung is offering management consultancy services to local Businesses, Institutions and entrepreneurs as well.Currently he is

working as Professor and Director at R V Institute of Management, a prestigious stand-alone B-school of excellence at Bangalore.

Mr.Shankar M M

He did MBA from University of Madras, he has 20 years of experience including Academics, Market

Research companies and consultancy. He has been actively involved in training and consultancy for the past

16 years. Trained more than 18,000 participants all over India in the subject of Research methodology and

Data analysis packages such as SPSS, SAS and AMOS and has published various articles in national level

Journals. He is enacting as Research consultant for intouch Analytics, PPDA Ltd, and various universities.

Currently he is associating with CARES as Mentor – Research and Training.

· Dr. Santhosh M is an academician with 14years of experience in the capacity of Asst. Professor and

Associate Professor in post graduate program in the area of management in the reputed colleges of

Bangalore.

· He has authored a book on Quantitative Techniques and Operations research.

· He has published several research papers in national and internationally renowned and refereed journals.

He has also presented research papers in both national and international Conferences.

About Workshop

The institutions of higher learning in the present days are facing crucial challenge in carrying out quality research,

especially in social science. Study of research methodology is therefore indispensable. The applications of numerous

statistical tools have opened new avenues in statistical analysis. SPSS and R Programming are playing a crucial role in

shaping the new architecture of research, in the environment dominated by large volumes of data.

The current workshop is designed to enrich the knowledge base of faculty members, research scholars and other

professionals who are engaged in research.
