• We need YOUR help to Combat Cancer & make Relay a success!

• So what is the role of a team captain?– Go to team meetings & bank days or send a rep from your team– Set goals for your team…and stick to them!– Communicate with your team about fundraisers, updates, Relay

events & info– Make sure team members have paid their $10 and are actively

fundraising– Organize meetings & team fundraisers for your team– Motivate & challenge your team members to fundraise!– Show some love…give kudos to top fundraisers (team emails

work well for this!)

• We have awesome gifts for team captains! • TC prizes will be given out at the spring

kickoff on March 15th to TC’s who have:– Raised at least $100– All team members have paid their $10

FUNDRAISING!Some opportunities for your team to do a

fundraiser…– Car wash at Exxon on Port Republic Rd. March

20 & March 26.  Teams must provide their own hose. 

– Convocation Event, Sun. Feb. 20th (and another date- which?) 8:30-12:30pm:• your group would need to provide a minimum of 10

workers who are able to perform manual tasks such as putting out tables, chairs, flooring and other general setup as directed by the facilities staff.  We will pay $100 per hour to your group!!
