DXC Eclipse | Fact Sheet Budget Control allows the creation of unique purchasing budgets within DXC Procurement Solution. These purchasing budgets can be defined by a wide variety of criteria including GL Account, Department (sub-account), Project, Task/Cost Category, Item ID, Item Class, Vendor, User ID and Site ID. In addition, up to eight user-defined fields can also be added to the criteria. DXC Procurement Solution Budget Control allows budget checking against: • General Ledger budget • Project Budget (for Dynamics GP and Dynamics SL only) • Encumbrance Management (Dynamics GP) Additional features • Import budgets from Excel spreadsheets (for budgets that are defined in DXC Procurement Solution). • Base budgets on amounts, quantity or both. • Validate against period level, yearly level or both. • Review budgets at the transaction- line level. • Restrict over-budget spending using budget controls. • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance with detailed audit trails and thorough controls.
