PIGGABLE WYEThe QCS Piggable Wye is a “Y” shaped pipeline fitting designed to facilitate the pigging and cleaning of lateral subsea pipeline systems. The Wye can be manufactured from single carbon steel forging or casting. There are two pipe inlets, each configured at an angle of 15 degrees from the center line of the fitting for a 30 degree angle of entry between the two inlets. ASME compliant design.

QCS offers the Piggable Wye in two designs “Asymmetrical” and “Symmetrical”. QCS offers the Wye in a standard welded (WE x WE x WE) configuration. Both designs readily accept all standard pipeline pigs, including cup and disc type models used for cleaning of the pipe’s internal bore.

DIVERLESS REPAIR CLAMP CONNECTORThe QCS Diverless Repair Clamp Connector is a mechanical split clamping device designed for multiple deepwater repair and recovery scenarios. Depending on the configuration of the clamping system, the Diverless Clamp Connector may be used as part of a spool piece repair system, a leak repair clamp or as a recovery tool.

SURELOCK™ DIVERLESS END CONNECTORThe QCS SureLock™ connector is designed to enable pipeline operators to repair damaged pipelines in extreme water depths beyond the reach of conventional manned diving operations.

QCS utilized existing technology to the fullest, incorporating a “collet” structural attachment system and a dual Viton sealing system very much like that employed on its existing diver-installed GripLock™ end connector. The SureLock™ grips and seals are actuated by a hydraulic running tool which is manipulated and powered by a remote operated vehicle. The connector is designed to permit an “in-line” repair, eliminating the need for costly collet connectors and a “U-shaped” jumper.

“THE NEW DIRECTION IN PIGGABLE WYE TECHNOLOGY” DUAL DIRECTOR™ BI-DIRECTIONAL PIGGABLE WYE

The Dual Director™ Bi-Directional Piggable Wye has the unique ability to accommodate bi-directional and/or reverse flow pigging through both the main line and lateral line of the wye due to a unique internal diverting mechanism that can be actuated via external torque bucket by ROV, hydraulic actuator, or diver. Activating the diverter sleeve in the main line rotates the sleeve to close the port to the lateral line, permitting bi-directional pigging in the main line. Activating the diverter sleeve in the lateral line rotates the sleeve to close the port to the main line, permitting bi-directional pigging in the lateral line. When both diverter sleeves are in the open position the Dual Director’s™ unique design permits conventional flow combining pigging operations.

Also Available: Director™ Bi-Directional Piggable Wye which only permits bi-directional pigging through the main line of the wye.
