Provocations can be anything which provokes thoughts, discussions,

questions, interests, creativity and ideas. They can also expand on a

thought, project, idea and interest.

Think about different provocations…Suggest resources… for example…

• Old materials displayed in a new way

• Old ideas reconfigured in a new way

• Starting with an interest that children or young people have

• An object or objects

• New creative mediums

Quality Cultural Education programme should only focus on active participation in the arts

The Inspection Services should judge art and cultural education in the same manner as they

do with other subjects

Assessing children in arts and culture, should be achieved by using one single method, with clear quality standards

Cultural institutions should actively engage with businesses, who thereby would invest in

properly skilled future employees
