February 21, 2014: In Mérida, a young woman died after falling off from a motorbike as she tried to avoid a barricade. In Caracas, a motorcyclist died after he was beheaded by barb wire set up by terrorist groups at barricades.

February 22, 2014: US Secretary of State John Kerry meddles again in Venezuela’s domestic affairs. He defended the terrorist groups operating in the country and accused the Venezuelan government of using force against them.

February 26, 2014: President Nicolás Maduro opens an unprecedented Peace Conference, which is attended by different political, social, cultural, sports and economic sectors. Among the proposals, a “Commission for the Truth” is approved to investigate the people responsible for the murders since February 12, 2014

February 27, 2014: A great march commemorates the 25th anniversary of the February 4, 1989 rebellion which followed different rallies of women, students, peasants, fishermen and workers of Venezuela to express support for the Bolivarian Revolution. In the international arena, the Bolivarian Revolution receives the support of different social movements of America, Africa, Asia and Europe, UNASUR, CELAC and ALBA.

February 28, 2014: The Attorney General’s Office counted 18 victims as a consequence of barricades. It did not include the indirect deaths of people from suffocation or heart attacks who could not reach hospitals to receive prompt medical care.

March 4, 2014: The US House of Representatives passed the H. Res. 488 to support the violence perpetrated by opposition leaders and protesters in Venezuela.
