1. Missionary Focus: Pray for Don & Carol Pickel, serving with ASSIST Canada (Cuba Ministries): "Dear friends at SEC: We hope you are enjoying beautiful weather these days. Soon we expect to be arranging the upcoming winter trips to Cuba where we will take a team each time, with up to eight others. Pastor Samuel, with whom we work in Cuba, will arrange the travel schedule for us and we expect to be able to financially help a number of evangelical churches in eastern Cuba. We want to thank you very much on behalf of our Cuban brethren for your recent financial gift to the Cuba ministry. This, unless you have otherwise designated, will go for church and parsonage construction in eastern Cuba, especially in the hurricane ravaged areas hard hit by Hurricane Matthew (2016) and Irma (2017). Cuba today is in a state of spiritual revival and God is working in amazing ways. May the Lord bless. Again, thank you. In His glad service, Don & Carol."

Lawn Club. Volunteers are in place for this to go ahead the
week of Aug. 13-17 (for ages 5-13).
Volunteers are needed to help with cleaning and grass cutting
while Pastor Chris is on holidays, July 23 - Aug. 4. Contact the
church office if you can help.
Change of Address: Please replace the old for the new in your
directory for Brock Neilson: 1313 Ave. W North, Saskatoon SK
S7L 3J2.
Note from our Council: We have recently completed some revisions to our
church constitution & bylaws. As members, you need to be made aware of
these changes, and after one year, a vote can be held on whether to adopt
them or not. The major changes are as follows: 1) Updating the language
and format of our statement of faith. 2) Separating our church constitution
from the church bylaws. 3) Updating the language in the document and
the structures and processes within our church. The last revision was done
in 1990, so some of our boards & committees have changed, etc. To save
paper, we'd like to email you a copy of the proposed constitution. Please
contact the office in order to receive that. Paper copies can will be made
available upon request. Contact the office or any council member with
questions.
Kadesh News: Thank you to everyone that prayed and/or came to camp to
help with the aftermath of the giant storm that hit Kadesh. Damage was
done to the garages of both residences, the camp store, the Jungle Swing
and other program elements. Thankfully nothing was damaged that would
prevent camp from running. With the help of 50+ volunteers a huge
amount of work was done to move the fallen trees and get camp ready to
run on Sunday. The support of our larger camp community was felt. Thank
you, thank you, thank you to all involved. Even with the storm and power
outage we were able to run a great Ten Twelve Week; today we start with
Junior Teen 1. Pray for our speaker Kaitlyn Cey and for staff as they have a
fresh batch of campers (ages 12-14). We are praying that they will find
new relationship with Jesus. Thanks to those that volunteer, pray, &
give. Know that God is changing lives through the ministry of Kadesh.

Jesus, The Great I Am, pt 4 Mankind, The Great I AM NOT
Introduction: I am ______ but I know ___ _______.
Genesis 2:7
Then the LORD God formed a man[c] from the dust of the
ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and
the man became a living being.
1. I am ________.
Genesis 1:26-28 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our
likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and
the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild
animals, and over all the creatures that move along the
ground.” 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the
image of God he created them; male and female he created
them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and
increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the
fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living
creature that moves on the ground.”
2. I am _______________ in the __________ of God.
3. I am ________ to ______________ Him.
Glorify means to give _____________ and out of that
honour, ___________ and ______________.
