Please Support the Villages Pickleball Court Project! The Villages Club Board voted on May 26 th and approved sending the Pickleball Court Project out for Member Approval. The Club Board is recommending Member approval of the addition of four Pickleball Courts near the entrance to the Villages. Note: The actual courts will only take 1/3 rd of the open space at the entrance The Pickleball Club wants to make sure everyone is aware of these facts: • There will be NO increase in assessments to residents for building Pickleball Courts! The Pickleball Club has raised over $475,000 towards the building of the courts with the remainder coming from available Club Capital Improvement funds. • What is the projected cost of maintaining courts in your HOA fee? TBD, but six Tennis Courts currently cost $1.45/month and four Pickleball Courts are less than 1/3 the size. • Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the U.S. and is quickly growing in the Villages. • Pickleball courts will enhance the desirability of our community! • Pickleball is a great way to improve balance, flexibility and have FUN!
