STEPS IN THE PROCESS OF STAFFING
i. MANPOWER PLANNING : Concerned with forecasting the future manpower needs of the organisation
ii. JOB ANALYSIS : Process of collecting and
analysing relevant facts of a job.
iii. RECRUITMENT: Process of searching the candidates and encouraging them to apply for jobs in an organisation.
iv. SELECTION : Choosing & appointing the right
persons for various jobs..
v. PLACEMENT :Putting the right person on the right job.
vi. ORIENTATION :Making new employees familiar with the organisation, work environment, existing
staff & work rules.
vii. REMUNERATION: Determining the wage/salary scales, perks and other monetary benefits to the employees.
viii. TRAINING:Activities intended to improve knowledge, skills and attitudes of managers and employees to perform better.
ix. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION Measurement and assessment of the behaviour and performance of employees.
