OverviewWe are pleased to announce that Symbiosis Institute of Business Management,Bengaluru has completed a decade of providing education with a quantitative differenceand creating business leaders of tomorrow. The outgoing MBA Batch of 2017-18witnessed yet another spectacular season of placements. We saw a steep rise in thenumber of new engagements from the previous year which is a testament to the newheights we are scaling.
The class of 2018 was a fine blend of students with an average work experience of 23months across various sectors. With our regular marquee recruiters like Accenture,Credit Suisse, Cummins, Dell, Deloitte, Infosys, ITC, JP Morgan, Maruti Suzuki IndiaLimited, Morgan Stanley, MTR Foods, Reckitt Benckiser hiring in good numbers thisseason as well, have reaffirmed their faith in our students by offering a plethora of newroles in their esteemed organizations. In addition to the regular companies, SIBMBengaluru also engaged with companies like Airtel, Azim Premji Foundation, Byju’s,Deloitte India, Godfrey Philips India, HSBC, Manpower Group, Taj Group, Thoucentric,Whirlpool etc. for the very first time and received an overwhelming feedback which canbe quantified by the sheer number of students being placed in these companies. Withcorporate engagements in the form of guest lectures and live projects, the students hadan opportunity to interact, share and clarify their thoughts with industry stalwarts fromreputed companies like Expedia, McDonald’s, Salesforce, United Breweries, Voonik,Willis Towers Watson etc.

I take immense pleasure in leading the institute into its10th year of being. As we move towards the closure ofanother academic year, we are delighted to report ahighly successful placements season. The lasting effectsof this institute’s past accomplishments stand astestaments to our growing success. The industry hasshown their approval and appreciation for the MBAprogramme at SIBM Bengaluru which is speciallydesigned to groom budding business professionals intotrue management leaders by imparting qualityeducation, training them to challenge the conventionaland think innovatively.
