ADVANCED SAFETY TECHNOLOGY ACTIVE ADVANCED SAFETY (Accident Avoidance) • Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS): monitors both broken and solid lanes on the highway using a camera mounted near the interior mirror; at speeds above 43 mph, LDWS alerts the driver when the vehicle leaves the lane without using the turn signal by “shaking” the seatbelt and providing an audio and visual warning: – Bad weather and skid marks on the road may cause a false indicator.
