Religious Education Festival will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church, Morton Grove.

CHICAGO KNANAYA FORANE BIBLE FESTIVAL 2015 At St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church, Morton Grove, IL

On Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. Details of the Competitions

For KG and below: Variety competitions. No requirement of pre-registration. For ages 60 and above: Variety competitions. No requirement of pre-registration.

Items without age limit: Knanaya Traditional Songs and Vanakkamasam songs.

Rules and Regulations 1. All items are Bible related.2. All participants should submit a completed registration form on or before the last date of registration

(August 30, 2015). Only one registration form is required per participant. Registration forms postmarkedon the last date of registration will be considered as valid registration.

3. If necessary, proof of class level may be requested (Class level will be for the academic year 2015-2016).4. Competition committee of this Bible Festival has the right to make changes in the rules if necessary, in-

cluding cancelling the whole competition, or any items therein.5. Registration starts at 9.00 A.M. Participants are required to register at the desk one hour before the sched-

uled time of his/her event.6. The Committee will not be responsible for malfunctioning of CDs. Participants are advised to keep a

backup plan.7. The time allotted for single song is three minutes and all other group songs are five minutes.8. Participant will not get chance to perform if not reported within three call-outs by the facilitator.9. All participants must bring necessary materials for their item. CD’s, musical instruments, etc.10. A minimum number of four participants are required in a group.11. Decisions of Judges are final.12. The last date for registration is August 30, 2015.13. The time allotted for dance competition is minimum three and maximum seven minutes.14. Subject for Elocution competition will be announced later.
