Materials: Cascade Yarn’s Pacific® Chunky Color Wave 60% Acrylic / 40% Superwash Merino Wool Hat: 1 skein, Scarf, 2 skeins color # 401 For hat: Needles size # 9 & 10 ½: 16” circulars, and 10 ½ dpn’s, for scarf, size # 10 ½. Markers, yarn needle Size: One size, hat fits most, scarf 8” x 54 approx. blocked.

Work patterns rows 1-12 19 times. Knit 4 rows and bind off. Wet block to measurements. HAT With 16” size # 9 needles, c/o 84 sts. PM and join, being careful not to twist stitches. Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 1 ¼”. Change to 16” size # 10 ½ needles and begin pattern. Rnd 1: *(P1, K1) 3 times, P2, (K1, P1) 2 times * rep bet *’s around. Rnd 2: As Rnd 1. Rnd 3: *P1, K1* rep bet *’s around. Rnd 4: As Rnd 3. Rnd 5: As Rnd 1. Rnd 6: As Rnd 1. Rnd 7: *P2, (K1, P1) 2 times, (P1, K1) 3 times. Rnd 8: As Rnd 7. Rnd 9: As Rnd 3. Rnd 10: As Rnd 3.
