exchange about Hurricane Katrina victims,
in particular, and about hurricane
preparedness in general. This is a Proof of
Concept project to demonstrate the

Katrina National Memorial Museum
website for New Orleans residents to

empowering women to change their world
through water. We use international water
projects as a means to teach women
leadership, financial skills, and
communication skills so that they can
become change makers in their
community. The Tulane media intern will
work with the Director of Programs within
the existing media strategy to create
content and campaigns relevant local and
international audiences. This will include:
traditional print media, electronic media,
video content and creative content
creation. The media intern will learn
grassroots marketing, cause focused
