Bunker managementOur bunker management module is acomprehensive facility comprising theadministration of bunker contracts, submission ofbunker orders and consumption calculationsincluding costs and bunker planning.

Consumption of various bunker types detailed in theindividual vessel specifications is automaticallylinked to the vessel schedule. This allows you to seeimmediately the impact on bunker consumptionand associated cost for any change to the schedule.This ensures that one of the major cost drivers forshipping companies is comprehensively managed.Any special regulations – such as SECA - or specialbunker requirements are also incorporated. You are able to insert a checklist pattern for each individual port.The checklist is created once a vessel calls at the port andindividuals are assigned specific tasks using a workflowmanagement tool.

Once a task has been completed, the operator responsible forundertaking that task is identified with a timestamp.

The checklist is integrated with the exception list and open tasksare highlighted and displayed in a specific color assigned by you.

Vessel ReportingThis application creates and manages your vessel reports. It runsonboard your ship as a standalone thumbdrive application (andtherefore does not require any installation) and converts standardvessel reports into an XML format for easy email or webtransmission to your shore-side operations department. Vesselreports are received ashore using Softship VOYCES and areautomatically imported. Your operations team is then given theoption to accept the report and update the vessel’s scheduleaccordingly.

In addition, the report forwarder will automatically convert theXML file into a readable PDF report which can be sent on to anychosen recipients.
