With both native app and mobile web interface options, users can choose the most appropriate method of accessing their enterprise content when they are on the move.

A clear mobile web interfaceThe mobile web interface takes advantage of the latest industry standards to present user-friendly views of information and content managed by Content Suite. Only a standard mobile web browser is required, and because ECM Everywhere uses the same URLs as your OpenText Content Suite, links to content or workflows shared with mobile colleagues, as well as links contained within notification emails, work just as well on smartphones as they do on desktops.

Editing on the moveBy allowing direct access to common third-party mobile device editors, such as Documents To Go, the ECM Everywhere native app makes it possible for information workers to create and edit content from anywhere. Documents can be opened and worked on within a users editor of choice and saved directly back to Content Suite.

Optimized content deliveryDownloading large presentations over a mobile data connection is never fun. With many handheld devices having a limited number of formats that they are able to view natively, browsing documents when mobile isnt always practical or even possible.

In order to further streamline the user experience, OpenText ECM Everywhere can convert and optimize many types of content, reducing their file size on-the-fly and optimized for delivery to mobile devices. If the users mobile device is unable to view Microsoft Word or PowerPoint documents, ECM Everywhere is able to convert them directly into PDF or deliver them as a paginated stream of images for viewing. This makes sure that users are never left out just because they are on a phone or tablet rather than their desktop or laptop.
