In factory area of 63000 sq ft, Masta plant unit 1 comprises of pattern shop, foundry, machine-shop, stores, packing and warehouse fully equipped with EOT cranes and material handling equipments. Masta group have three INDUCTION FURNACES, AUTOMATION in both FOUNDRIES, CNC and VMC MACHINES, Boring machines, Vertical turning lathes and a series of conventional machines with DRO system.

PATTERN SHOP:Masta's own Pattern shop is equipped with modern technology and machineries. There are qualified pattern makers to make wooden and aluminium patterns.

FOUNDRY:Green Sand Plant:

Resin Sand Plant:MASTA foundry Unit 2 have automatic No bake (Resin) Sand Reclamation Plant , which is fully automatic giving uniform moulding sand resulting best finish in castings. It has capacity to cast 50 kg to 1000 kg single piece component.

MASTA have automatic Green Sand Reclamation Plant at foundry Unit 1 equipped with ARPA line (High pressure moulding m/c). This imparts better aesthetics and finish to castings with high productivity and consistent quality of products. Capacity is 10 kg min to 150 kg max of castings. Cold core shooter provides sound cores for excellent internal finishing.

With an aim to cover entire drive system, Masta endeavours adding more products over a period of time. Starting from Casting and Plummer blocks Masta product profile encompass bearing accessories and transmission products as under.

MATERIAL TESTING FACILITY:

Shot blasting machine, fettling machine and heat treatment furnace are available in house.

Material testing laboratory for checking sand property, casting property – mechanical and chemical, and soundness testing of casting are available. That is, Spectrometer Chemical Analyses, Universal Testing Machine, Impact Testing machine, Hardness Tester, Magnetic Particle test, Ultrasonic test, Die Penetration test facility are available in-house. For critical requirements Radiography test can also be done.

Masta has a modern manufacturing unit with variety of automatic machines such as:

CNC machines, VMC machines, Special Purpose machines, Universal surface grinder, CNC and Conventional Boring machine, Vertical Lathe-VTL, conventional lathes with DRO facility, Radial and Pillar Drilling machines, etc. Overhead Cranes, Fork Lift Trucks, and transporting trucks are available for material handling .

MACHINE SHOP:

QUALITY ASSURANCE:A team of qualified engineers inspect every product as per detailed quality plan for stage-wise inspection. Calibrated instruments and gauges are available, like Trimos, digital height gauge, Micrometers, Digital Vernier Calliper, depth gauge, Thread plug gauges and ring gauges, paint thickness measuring device, sine bar, etc. Continuous Improvement and maintaining Customer Satisfaction is one of the goals inbuilt in business activity with Masta team.

Unique packing of plummer blocks with assembly by EPE foam sheet and wrapped with laminated straps protect the products and prevent from transit damage.

MASTA manufactures Precision Quality Bearing Adapter and Withdrawal Sleeves, Locknut and Lock Washer on CNC turning centres to maintain close tolerance required for the product.

Casting Components:

MASTA manufactures casting components as per customer's drawing and requirements in various material grades : CAST IRON, CAST STEEL, DUCTILE IRON (SG IRON), MANGANESE STEEL, ALLOY STEEL AND STAINLESS STEEL in its IBR approved foundry.

MASTA makes POWER TRANSMISSION RANGE under the roof of its group company, MASCO Transmission LLP, All products are manufactured in CNC set up giving superior quality and finish.

The Taper Bush Pulleys have a better technology and high quality as built-in feature. MASTA Taper Bush Pulleys are made from graded cast iron in over 400 sizes. Also additional sizes and pulleys in cast steel material can be supplied as per requirements. MASTA Taper Bush Pulleys conform to IS 3142 / ISO 4184 for V groove size.
