Ardesia è una soluzione decorativaa Basso Impatto Ambientale,composta da un prodotto di base,un prodotto di finitura e, qualoranecessario, un protettivo che neaumenta le prestazioni di lavabilitàe resistenza all’ abrasione. Il prodotto di base, lavorato con unapposito tampone, crea la tipicatexture della pietra ardesia, mentrela finitura, applicata a pennello,conferisce la colorazione grigioscuro tipica della pietra naturale. In cartella vengono proposte altretinte: la finitura può assumereeffetti metallici, micacei o perlati,che valorizzano ulteriormentequesta soluzione. Ardesia èaltamente resistente all’ abrasione,traspirante, lavabile.

Ardesia is a Low EnvironmentalImpact decorative solution, madeup of a base, a finish and, ifnecessary, a protective elementthat increases its washability andabrasion resistance features. Thebase, spread with an appropriatepad, creates the typical texture ofslate while the finish, appliedwith a brush, gives it the darkgrey colour that’ s typical ofnatural stone. Ardesia is offeredin various colour shades: thefinish may be metal, micaceousor pearl effect, therebyenhancing this wall covering stillfurther. Ardesia is highlyabrasion resistant, breathable,washable.


Ardesia: the epitomeof natural stoneSlate, as found in its naturalstate, can be worked easily; it iswaterproof and heat insulatingand was used even before thetime of the Romans. Today, as inthe past, it’ s used for commonwall coverings in buildings andalso in high-class architecturalworks, such as the famousportals, worked in relief, ofmedieval Genoa.

Le FinitureARDESIA con finitura PALLAS: applicare a pennello,rispettando la direzione delle linee, una mano di PALLAS byOikos diluito al 15-20%. Immediatamente sfumare la finituraagendo con lo stesso attrezzo scarico.

Per ottenere una finitura ancora più piena ed uniformeapplicare una seconda mano di PALLAS, dopo 2-4 ore dallaprima.

Per una maggiore protezione utilizzare i relativi protettiviindicati nelle schede tecniche del prodotto: WATINS LUX oIGROLUX by Oikos.

ARDESIA con finitura NOVALIS FERROMICACEO:applicare a pennello, rispettando il senso delle linee, unamano di NOVALIS FERROMICACEO by Oikos, diluito max20%. Immediatamente sfumare la finitura agendo con lostesso attrezzo scarico.

Per ottenere una finitura più piena ed uniforme applicareuna seconda mano di NOVALIS FERROMICACEO, dopo2-4 ore dalla prima.

Qualità TecnicheARDESIA by Oikos è una soluzione decorativa a BassoImpatto Ambientale che riproduce la texture e il coloredella pietra esistente in natura. Questo materiale lapideoha il fascino materico ricercato attualmente dagli interiordesigner per la sua capacità di conferire agli spaziinterni qualità ed eleganza contemporanei. ARDESIAviene proposta in una gamma di colori selezionati perconferire alle superfici una grande personalità, senzarinunciare a prestazioni di resistenza all’abrasione,lavabilità e traspirazione.

Il prodotto non è infiammabile, è amico dell'uomo edell'ambiente.

Per le caratteristiche tecniche fare riferimento allascheda tecnica dei prodotti indicati nel ciclo applicativo.

Campi d’Impiego Decorazione di pareti interne.

Preparazione dei Supporti Pulire la superficie da decorare asportando eventualiparti in fase di distacco. In presenza di supporti vecchi osfarinanti si consiglia di applicare una mano di NEOFIXo CRILUX by Oikos. In caso di muri ruvidi o irregolari siconsiglia di rasare la parete con STUCCO IN PASTA PERRASATURA by Oikos. Procedere successivamenteall’applicazione di una o due mani di FONDOMURALES by Oikos.

Modalità di Applicazione Applicare KREOS bianco in quantità leggermenteabbondante sulla parete con pennello o rullo a pelocorto in maniera uniforme ed omogenea.

Immediatamente procedere alla lavorazione del prodottocon il Tampone (art. 102), creando linee paralleleorizzontali o verticali cercando di mantenere il tamponesempre scarico per rendere la trama omogenea.

Attendere circa 10-15 min, per permettere la parzialeessiccazione del prodotto, quindi schiacciare leincrespature con la parte piatta del frattazzo in acciaioinox con una leggera pressione sempre seguendo ladirezione delle linee.

Attendere 10-12 ore per l’essiccazione quindicarteggiare con carta vetrata n.120 nella direzione dellelinee.

Technical QualitiesARDESIA by Oikos is a decorative solution with a LowEnvironmental Impact that reproduces the texture andcolour of slate. This material boasts the texture and feelthat is continually sought after by interior designers dueto its ability to bring quality and contemporary eleganceto interior settings. ARDESIA is presented in a range ofcolours selected to give character to surfaces withoutforesaking technical performance such as resistance toabrasion, washability and vapour permeability.

The product is non inflammable and is friendly to humansand the environment.

For the technical characteristics refer to the technical datasheet for the products indicated in the application cycle.

Ideal UseDecoration of interior walls.

Surface PreparationClean the surface to be decorated removing any loose orcrumbling material. On old or powdering surfaces, it isrecommended to apply a coat of NEOFIX or CRILUX byOikos. On rough or irregular surfaces, it is recommendedthat the surface be screeded first using STUCCO IN PASTAPER RASATURA by Oikos. Following this proceed to applya coat or two coats of FONDO MURALES by Oikos.

Application MethodApply by brush or short haired roller, an slightlyexcessive, even coat of white KREOS by Oikos.

Immediately proceed to work the product using theTampone (art. 102), to create parallel horizontal or verticalgrooves or lines making sure that the tampone is alwaysfree of excess product to maintain a homogeneous design.

Wait approximately 10-15 min., to allow the partialdrying of the product and then squash the creats usingthe flat part of an inox steel trowel, applying lightpressure and following the direction of the lines created.

Wait 10-12 hours until dry and then sand down usingsandpaper n.120 in the direction of the lines created.
