Basketball athletes on court are almost flying! Basket is a game that needs an incessant flow of action
that demands complex and high speed teamwork. Inspiration, spontaneity and trickery are the words that
best describe the game. Basketball is played with two teams of five players on a hard, flat court. Hoops
are mounted high on a backboard at opposite ends of the court. The main objective of the game is to
score the most baskets by shooting the ball into the opposing team’s hoop. The winning team is the one
that has scored the most points at the end of the game.
A popular variant is 3x3 basketball, which is increasingly becoming a key motor for the developmentof the sport. One of the biggest strengths of 3x3 is its simplicity both in terms of rules and in terms of
required facilities. It comprises of two teams, each team consists of four players, of whom three are on
the court at any given time, plus one coach. The game is played on half of a FIBA regulation court, with
one basket. The game is divided into two periods of 5 minutes each. The winner is the first team to score
33 or more points. If neither team reaches 33 points at the end of regulation, the team with the highest
score wins, as in regular basketball.

the Sprint is similar to the rowing one. Slalom competition, on the other hand, is like watching people

Table Tennis
Is an Olympic sport since 1988.
Is is a sport that in a high level has the speed and intensity of a martial art. It is so fast that the ball flies
with a speed of over 70km, making it hard to follow, keeping this pace for extended periods of time. It is
a sport of tactics, all about sending the opponent in the wrong direction, mentally as well as physically.
Table tennis is played between two (singles) or four players (doubles). Players use small racquets to hita small white or orange ball back and forth across a table divided by a net. Players take turns to hit two
serves in a row, and win a point if their opponent fails to return the ball onto the table. The first player to
score eleven points wins the game, and the match is won by the first player to win the required number
of games, either best of five or seven.
ITTF, International Table Tennis Federation is the sport international governing body while Qatar Table
Tennis Federation is the national federation responsible for the sport development & promotion.

sport of weightlifting, unquestionable represents the FORTIUS (stronger). The sport provides one of the
most theatrical stages in the competitions. At the Olympic Games the sport involves two disciplines; the
