Newsletter Week 9 Term 2 2020 -...

Dear Students and Families, We are all SUPER PROUD of the way everyone has returned to school so positively. Our teachers are making sure we support students through all these changes, but still get on with the focus of learning. It is great to see so many happy and smiling faces. School is starting to feel a lot more “normal” and we are all looking forward to finishing the last few weeks of term together. School Entry Please remember, if you are dropping your child off at school outside the allocated gate times of 8.45 and 9am, please call the school. Children must wait at the gate for a staff member. Please do not just drop them off and leave. Those arriving before 8.45 will need to go to Before School Care. This is the best way our school can manage the COVID-19 guidelines set out by the Dept. of Education. Please be respectful of this, so that our staff and other students can remain safe. Thanks for you co-operation. School Reports Very simple reports will be sent home in the last week of this term. Schools have been advised that they are not required to write “normal” reports or grade students on their learning this semester. Jetty Jump Call it crazy, call it mad, but the jetty jump was fun and was a way of showing students that sticking by your word is important and that moving outside your comfort zone is a positive thing to do. Thank you to all those families who were able to be there. It didn’t think there would be such an amazing turn out!
