Albino Bull Nose Pepper 100
Beautiful, blocky 3-4 inch peppers are a lovely cream color.
They have a nice mild, sweet flavor and ripen to a beautiful
reddish-orange. They produce loads of fruit from early
summer until frost on very compact, dwarf plants.
Corbaci Pepper - Bulk 500
80 days. A unique and wonderful sweet pepper. Very long 10-
inch fruit is curved and twisted, very slender, like a Turkish
sabre. This rare heirloom from Turkey has a very rich flavor,
perfect for pickling or frying. One of the most productive of
all peppers, out-yielding all others in tests by the University
of California.
Sugar Rush Peach Hot Pepper 100
A sumptuous snacking pepper, Sugar Rush Peach is by far the most
fun pepper to eat. The long, peach colored fruits are packed with
loads of super sweet, tropical flavor, and the seeds bring a smokey,
complex heat that when used together, creates a wild flavor
experience.. This exciting new open-pollinated variety was bred by
hot pepper prodigy Chris Fowler of Wales. super early, high yields
of these exquisite sweet hot peppers.
Violet Sparkle Pepper 50
75 day. Pointed, wedge-shaped fruit is purple streaked with
pale yellow. We originally received a few seeds of this variety
from a Russian seed trader. Ripens red. Very lovely and
delicious, sweet, crisp and thick-walled.

Sheepnose Pimento Pepper 100
70 days. Gorgeous cheese-type sweet pepper, ripening from
green to red. The fruit is round, oblate, and stylishly ribbed—so
pretty in the garden or on your table! Thick walled, crisp and
juicy fruits keep an extraordinarily long time when refrigerated.
An Ohio heirloom.
Miniature Bell Pepper Mix - Bulk 300
This colorful mix of dainty bell peppers is an old Ohio family
heirloom. This trio of mini red, yellow and chocolate bell peppers
was introduced to the Seed Savers Exchange by member Lucina
Cress. Lucina received the seeds from an elderly neighbor woman
and began to grow them out. The 2-inch mini bell peppers became
locally famous, as Lucina would sell hundreds of jars of cabbage-
stuffed pickled peppers at her local church bazaar each year. We
love these little peppers for snacking, stuffing or pickling.
Early Purple Sprouting Broccoli 300
An English heirloom variety, bred for overwintering.
Produces lots of purple broccoli sprouts in the spring. Grows
slowly through the winter; very frost hardy. A great variety
that is very hard to find in this country; delicious!
Romanesco Italia Broccoli 300
The true and popular Italian heirloom with spiraling, apple-
green heads that are so superbly flavored. Its fractal form is a
fascinating logarithmic Fibonacci spiral. This variety is widely
grown in northern Italy. A must with many of the finest
chefs.

Japanese White Egg Eggplant 5065 days. Full, rich flavor; lovely 2”-3” white fruit is perfect for
stir-frying. The plants give heavy yields all season.
Pandora Striped Rose Eggplant 50
A great market variety, teardrop-shaped fruit is a lovely lilac-
rose color with thin white stripes. Strong, thornless plants
give heavy yields; tender and delicious.
Cookstown Orange Eggplant 50
75 days. Tomato-shaped fruit starts out green, eventually
turning a gorgeous red-orange with intriguing, two-toned
green striping. Sweet, yellow flesh is non-bitter when
harvested young. Very attractive—pretty enough to grow in
the border!
Tunisian Baklouti Pepper 100
The traditional pepper of Tunisia, a small country on the
famed Barbary Coast that was once considered the "bread
basket" of the Roman Empire. Large red, tapering pods have
a wonderful hot flavor, but tend to get more mild with
cooking. Delicious flavor that is perfect with couscous and
other wonderful north African dishes and is one of the best
hot peppers for roasting and drying! Rich taste!

Malakhitovaya Shkatulka Tomato 50
70 days. The name translated means Malachite Box, named
after the lovely green jewelry boxes made from the malachite
mineral that comes from the Ural mountains and other
areas. This early, light-to-olive green, medium-sized tomato
has succulent, bright-green flesh that is very flavorful and
tasty. Plants are productive even in the North, as this variety
was developed at Svetlana Farm in Russia, and it has been
tested in Siberia! Our grower likes to make a unique green
ketchup from this variety.
Dad's Sunset Tomato 50
90 days. The perfect orange tomato! Large 10 oz. fruit is very
smooth, uniform, and a beautiful, glowing orange in color. It
keeps very well. One of the best flavored tomatoes we have
tried.
Urizun Japanese Winged Bean 50
An early maturing and supremely delicious winged bean
from Japan. Baker Creek’s founder, Jere Gettle, first
encountered winged beans on a trip to Thailand. Being a
tropical crop from the equator, the winged bean typically
takes a long season to flower. This variety is not day length
sensitive and will begin to produce pods in August. Heavy
production continues until frost. Especially popular on the
island of Okinawa, Japan, where this heat loving vegetable
takes center stage during the warm summer months. Vines
are lush and tropical looking, with large, lavender flowers
and unique pods. Traditionally blanched and stir fried with
ume (pickled Japanese plum), we love to toss them into the
wok with just about anything; also great in soups or steamed.
Dragon Tongue Bush Bean 40
Bush, 60 days. This famous Dutch heirloom bean has an
incomparable flavor. The tender and superbly delicious 7”
pods are yellow with amazing purple streaks! Also makes a
tasty shelled bean. Popular with chefs and gourmets.

Cantare Bean 40
Bush, 50-55 days. Superior producer of nice straight dark
green pods for snaps. The slim 4-5-inch pods are stringless,
and the flavor is every bit as outstanding as the yield! This
French variety makes a fine crop for market growers.
Excellent tolerance to bean mosaic virus.
Red Swan Bush Bean 40
Bush, 55 days. Here’s another beautiful selection from the
late Robert Lobitz, the Minnesota bean man. This is the
most uniquely-colored bean we have seen, nearly a true red
shade on the thick, flavorful pods. Lovely pink flower, too! A
wonderful variety that is so pleasing to the senses and yields
well.
Purple of Sicily Cauliflower 200
Beautiful, brilliant purple heads weigh 2-3 lbs and are of a
fine, sweet flavor. The heads cook to bright green. Insect-
resistant variety that is easier to grow than many white
varieties; rich in minerals. A colorful heirloom. Select Italian
seed. Our favorite purple cauliflower every year!
Green Macerata Cauliflower 200
A delicious Italian variety with 2-lb, bright apple-green heads

Chinese Pink Celery 200
A stunning bright pink celery from China. An easy-to-grow
variety to complete the nutritional rainbow! Pink celery is
popular in northern China, especially Beijing, where the
attractive pink stalks are served in high-end restaurants.
Flavor is yummy and lightly sweet, texture is light and
crunchy and eye appeal is unstoppable. We are excited
about the culinary potential of this nutritious and fun variety.
Chinese White Celery 200
A delicate and delicious Chinese variety with snow white
stalks. White celery has been cultivated in the Chinese town
of Liyang for over 800 years. Stems are long, slender and
hollow, with strong celery flavor, ideal for Asian soups and
stews, but equally suitable for mirepoix and other recipes
calling for celery. This variety is known to be easy to grow
and more heat tolerant than other celery varieties.
Summer Savory 250
(Satureja hortensis) Delicious peppery flavor that is
popular in beans and many other dishes; also used
medicinally.

Scarlet Kale 150
A lovely curled “red” kale that produces lots of
delicious, frilly leaves and takes on the chill of winter
with stride! Pretty in the flower garden or on the plate.
Rich in nutrition and flavor.
Purple Lady Bok Choy 150
An Incredible Variety From China! We love this eye-
catching purple, baby bok choy, and we believe this is one of
the best strains available. It is loaded with high levels of
antioxidants with anti-aging properties, as well as a sweet, rich
flavor that is perfect for the wok, grill or in salads. We love
the highly refined, uniform heads, averaging 6-7 inches tall.
A beautiful variety, the antioxidant-rich plum colored leaves
really pop against the lime green stems. Crunchy, juicy and
flavorful, this is an excellent culinary variety.
Raspberry Lyanna Tomato 50
One of the best tomatoes, ever! Simply stunning, raspberry-
pink fruit is of medium size. Firm flesh is very sweet and
richly flavored. This variety from Russia is perfect looking,
one of the prettiest tomatoes we have grown. It is almost free
of imperfections, making it perfect for marketing. An
employee favorite and a new classic tomato.
Orange Icicle Tomato 50
Sweet, rich and flavorful with strong citrus overtones
made this Jere’s favorite eating variety last season. We
just couldn’t get enough of the sweet, luscious, glowing
orange icicle-like fruit that is like an extra long paste
tomato. This variety also makes a lovely orange ketchup
and a superb salsa. It was a definite winner, and plants
were quite productive. In our opinion, this is some of
the Ukraine’s finest tomato breeding. Fruit has relatively
few seeds.

Get Stuffed Tomato 50
A spectacular stuffing tomato with gorgeous golden
streaked skin. This crisp fleshed and hollow variety is
perfectly suited to stuffing, superb when eaten raw but
also holds up beautifully when baked. Fruit averages 5-7
ounces each and is similar to a bell pepper in shape.
The skin of this variety is gilded in light streaks of gold.
Medium large with a strawberry-like seed cluster in the
middle that is easy to scoop out. Delicious stuffed with
various stuffings raw or cooked. Shaped like a bell
pepper with crispy texture but great tomato flavor.
Stands up well to powdery mildew. Originally bred by
incredible plant breeder Tom Wagner!
Cosmic Eclipse Tomato 60
70 days. This totally unique variety is amazing! Smooth,
2 to 3 ounce fruit starts off green with dark green stripes
and striking indigo colored splashes. Fruit ripens to
spangled brick-red with green stripes, complemented by
lots of black anthocyanin, giving this a very striking
multi-colored finish. Very good, sweet rich and juicy
flavor. Great ability to hang on the vine ripe and stay
edible better than most. Good post-harvest shelf life,
maintaining superb eating quality for weeks. Very
productive, too. This release from Brad Gates is a
triumph!
Purple Dove Bush Bean 40
Bush, 55 days. Here’s a spectacular offering from plant
breeder, the late Robert Lobitz. Gorgeous violet-purple, flat
to slightly round pods are very well flavored. Bush plants
show a slight tendency to run; staking is not required but this
trait makes them super productive over a long season. Seeds
are a lovely violet-color too! Pkt $3.50
Lorenziana Gaillardia 200
Antique, extra showy variety dating back to at least 1886.
Formerly known as double sunset gaillardia. An extra-terrestrial
take on our favorite pollinator-friendly prairie flower. Blooms
have quilled double petals in fabulous mixed colors. This heat
tolerant, long season blooming native North American
wildflower is equally at home in the border or freely sown as a
wild flower. Makes an exemplary cut flower.

Lovely flowers up to 4” in colors of orange, apricot,
yellow, peach, and cream. An historic heirloom garden
plant that was known as “Pot Marigold.” A colorful
addition to any garden.
Miss Jekyll Mix Love-In-A-Mist 200
(Nigella damascena ) Hardy annual. If the foliage is like
filigree, the star-like blooms are like smoky gems, in mellow
jewel-tones of rose, sky blue, dark blue, and crystalline white.
A standard since at least the 1960s, and still among the very
finest late-spring flowering plants. (All parts of this plant are
toxic and should not be taken internally.)
Queen Mix Salvia 500
Cheerful blend of pollinator friendly blooms. Rosy pink and
violet spikes are aromatic and nectar rich, this mix is honey
bee heaven! Perennial, easy to grow, bushy 2 foot tall plants
fill in quickly, creating a mass of color from May til
September. Tolerates poor soil and loves full sun.
Olympia Mix Scabiosa 400
Luscious mix of Pincushion Flower colors—purples, plums

Variegated Cockscomb 120
This fabulously novel variegated cockscomb from antiquity
has been brought back from obscurity! This color was
described as a beautiful and unusual floral oddity in The
Country Gentleman’s Magazine a British periodical from
1874. Other than this mention, there is no record of this
vibrantly bi-colored celosia, which is a wonder, as the dueling
tones are a playful a riot of color. Alien like combs sit atop
three foot tall plants. We expect this one of a kind wierdo to
be warmly embraced by gardeners and floral designers!
Lovely 4”-6” flowers are a joy!
Blue Disc African Daisy 300
Silvery white ray flowers offset the steel-blue “eyes” or
centers. Heat-loving daisy is easy from seed and thrives in
heat. Plants to 24.” Very striking and makes a brave show all
summer long!

Colorful mix of rose, orange, yellow, crimson, purple, and
brick red. Single and semi-double flowers; a popular garden

Queen Lime Red Zinnia 250

Tequila Sunrise Snapdragon 400
Annual. A punchy mix of bright colors makes this an
exciting focal point of the garden or bouquet. The vibrant
pinks and yellows are so pleasing to the eye contrasted with
the very dark green, almost black, foliage. Bushy plants do
not exceed 18 inches tall.
Red Sun Sunflower 200
Stately branching plants reaching 5-6 feet tall are
covered with dozens of ornamental blooms. Red to red-
orange single flowers are highlighted with a hint of
yellow around the centers. Blooms over a very long
season, attracting bees and butterflies. Later, the tiny

“heirloom” was introduced by New Mexico State University.
A sunny lemon yellow variety, it was bred using natural
backcrossing techniques, resulting in an extra spicy and super
eye-catching fruit. Super ornamental and extremely prolific,
well adapted to the hot, dry New Mexican climate. This
variety has major eye appeal and stands out in salsas and
other fresh prepartations; the color is stunning and really
pops. Edible landscaping is a breeze with lemon spice; the

Table Queen Acorn Squash 50
(C. pepo) 80 days. Dark green Acorn type fruit. Iowa Seed
Co. introduced this variety in 1913; possible Native
American origin. The small fruit has sweet, orange flesh.
Baby Blue Hubbard Squash 50
Sure to be a high demand delicacy if the frosts hold off. (C.
maxima) 90-100 days. small, Hubbard-shaped fruit weighs
around 6 lbs and have fine-grained, yellow-gold flesh that is
sweet and of excellent quality. A great variety for marketing
or small households. Semi-bush vines are easy to handle.

55 days. The shape, size and color of a lemon, it grows great
here, with huge yields and the best resistance to insects I
have seen in a summer squash. Very tasty, great fried! A
favorite, this is a superb market variety and very attractive.

Patisson Golden Marbre Scallop
Squash40
A unique French scallop squash. Fruit is a beautiful
bright golden-orange color. Young fruit is very tender
and well flavored! Also makes good winter squash. Tall
bush plants are very attractive, and yields are good. A
favorite of ours.
White Scallop Squash 60
50 days. A very ancient Native American heirloom squash,
grown by the Northern Indians for hundreds of years. This
type was depicted by Europeans back to 1591, and is one of
the best-tasting and highest-yielding varieties still around
today! Great fried or baked. Flat fruit with scalloped edges--
beautiful!
Ronde De Nice Squash 40
50 days. This is a delicious French heirloom variety. The
flesh of this round, green zucchini is very tender and fine-
flavored, making it an ideal squash for stuffing. A popular
variety for home gardens and specialty growers. Vigorous,
quick-growing plants.

Cocozella Di Napoli Squash 40
55 days. Long, slender fruit, ribbed, pale greenish- yellow,
striped with dark green; very firm and flavorful flesh. A unique
Italian heirloom and tasty.
Desi Summer Squash - Bulk 300
40 days. Our Earliest Squash! The Desi summer squash was
one of the most incredible discoveries of 2015! We grew
these out at the Baker Creek trial garden and were extremely
impressed by how quickly the small bush-type plants started
to flower and produce loads of yummy squash. In taste tests
in the Baker Creek restaurant, guests overwhelmingly
appreciated the nutty rich flavor of this summer squash that
is a hit in India. It produces loads of round-baseball-size
fruits that is great to use as you would any zucchini! A really
amazing vegetable and so easy to grow. One of Joseph
Simcox’s favorite finds in summer squash in years!
Tom Thumb Garden Pea 75
50-55 days. Tom Thumb is absolutely the best pea variety
for container planting! Reaching only 8 to 9 inches in height,
it’s grown mainly as a shelling type, but the pods are also
sweet, tender and delicious when harvested very young. This
variety excels when tucked into small spaces around the
garden, and for cold frame production very early or very late
in the season. This unusual heirloom originated in England
and was first introduced in the U.S. by Landreth Seeds,
Philadelphia, in 1854. Even more frost tolerant than most
other pea varieties, and, naturally, it requires no staking!
Thyme 800 (T. vulgaris) Very aromatic and flavorful; not winter hardy.
