2nd PhD Summer School and Executive Training on Solid Waste Management, 24 & 25 June 2019
The PhD summer school will cover the following topics:
Legal Framework and Policy, Municipal Solid Waste Management, Treatment Technologies, Anaerobic Digestion, Circular Economy, Waste-to-Energy, Sustainable Management. The summer school will include 16 teaching hours in total on 24th & 25th of June 2019. On June 26th, 2019, the participants will attend the Poster Session of the "HERAKLION 2019 7th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Manage-ment" and a �nal session roundtable with the main topic being the "State-of-the-art and future directions of Sustainable Solid Waste treatment: the pathway to Circular Economy". Individual �nal assignments will be assigned to the participants and the grading of the course will be done on a Pass/ Fail basis. All the attendees will be given a certi�cate of attendance.

PhD and Executive Training Summer School �nal assignment - until July 20th, 2019: 10 hours The certi�cate of attendance will be given immediately after the completion of the 2nd PhD and Executive Training Summer School on Solid Waste Management. The �nal assignment should be implemented by 20th of July, 2019 and the results will be communicated individual-ly to every attendee by July 31st, 2019.
