Dear Senior,
On behalf of the CSULB Alumni Association, congratulations on your prospective graduation. Your hard work and dedication have paid off. You will soon join the family of proud graduates from The Beach, which is now more than 265,000 graduates strong and growing!
We hope that you’ll enjoy this guide as it helps you to reflect on your transition from student to alum, and your future relationship with your University. As alumni, we have an important role to play ensuring that our current and future students receive the same Beach experience we did…and more! What we have today and what we have tomorrow is in your hands now.
I would like to invite you to remain actively involved. Alums return to campus for a variety of events, become active in the Alumni Association, and contribute to the Beach Fund. Most importantly, we are advocates for CSULB and the public University that will train our future workforce for the economic vitality of California.
The CSULB Alumni Association is now your lifeline to keeping connected with your University, your classmates, and your academic history. We always want you to proudly say...this is myBeach.
With Beach Pride,
Jerry Galbreath ‘62President, CSULB Alumni Association

The Senior Class Giving Campaign is a tradition at Cal State Long Beach which allows
you to make your first gift back to the Beach Fund, a student-led program dedicated to
provide funding from our alumni, parents and friends that adresses the ongoing needs of
the university. Contributions to the Beach Fund enhance the areas with the greatest needs
on campus and provide all students with access to a quality education by advancing the
following areas:

We encourage you to give to the Senior Class Giving Campaign, whether it’s through
the Beach Pride & Tradition Package, or through a phone call you receive from a current
