Mungret Club Notes 29 Oct 2013
U14 Hurling
The U14 boys delighted with their recent County win in hurling went back to their old primary
schools to show off the silverware. St. Nessans and GaelScoil Raithin were 1st to be visited. There
was a great welcome in both schools for the players that attended. The following week it was a visit
to St. Pauls the boys were delighted to return to their teachers and received a great response.

Allianz Cumann na mBunscol
Well done to our Primary schools in their recent Allianz Cumann na mBunscol finals played in the
Gaelic Grounds during the week. The U13 A St. Nessan's Girls were unfortunate to be beaten in their
final by Monaleen.
The U13 B St. Paul's Girls were unlucky to be beaten in the last minute by Milford. The U11 Boys saw
a great win for St. Nessan's over Scoil Chriost Ri.
Left to play are the U11 St. Nessan's Girls we wish them the best of luck as they play Monaleen and
hope to overcome them.

Have you signed up to do Movember yet? The whole idea of Movember is to highlight mens health.
Men have a habit of avoiding self-checks, and avoiding the call to the doctor. The quicker you see to
the things the better the outcome. Movember is all about raising awareness of this.
Have a look at some of our volunteers with some people well known for their tashes. Some of the
club members on our list are Keith Devers, John Hassett, John O'Donovan, John Rochford, John
MacMahon, Vinnie Gleeson, Martin Corcoran, Ger Synnott, Alan Carroll, Mike Joy, John Page, Pa
Begley, Brian Begley, Noel O'Brien, Tony Murphy, Kevin O'Hagan, Harry Barry, Gary Smith, Martin
White and Liam O'Connell. More people are welcome to join in just contact Wanda on 087-6236709
or Miriam on 0879974051. All Mo Bros registered with us are getting free grooming (trim) from
