Yearly quality surveys for airlines and passengers are carried out in order to monitor their perception

of the airport services.

The airport is focused on having the best image possible. Menorca Airport

has implemented an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management

System, certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Since the end of 2012 the airport is in the European EMAS register, that

promotes the improvement of environmental performance. In 2015 the

airport was awarded as the Best small public organization of the year due

to infrastructure improvements and the reduction of water and electricity

supplies.

Additionally Menorca airport was the top-rated airport among the 55

international airports evaluated in a satisfaction survey given to Thomson

Airways passengers in 2014.

Additionally, in 2015 Menorca Airport was certified by the Spanish

Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), meeting the international standards

recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The certification, valid indefinitely, entails both safety improvements and

meeting international technical standards.
