Presentation Design thinking, which focuses on the user taking the lead in modern design, produc‐tion and marketing processes, is the disci‐pline that enables professionals in all areas to develop teamwork ability and skills, pro‐ducing projections for a product or service and related innovation processes based on their economic, technological and social feasibility, creating products, services and solutions in accordance with users’ real needs.

This tool is a determining factor since contemporary designers are constantly involved in coordinating interdisciplinary work teams in companies and must be able to bring the various departments and areas of organisations together to carry out an innovation, design or redesign project.

Design thinking helps all areas of the com‐pany understand, communicate and com‐bine their viewpoints in company innova‐tion, marketing, production and commer‐cialisation processes and prevents design and innovation solutions from being smoth‐ered or shelved due to poor management. It supports the development of solutions,

products and services produced by design, proactively interconnecting the manage‐ment, technical, communication and inno‐vation forces in a company or organisation. It is thus a crucial issue for any profes‐sional, businessman or designer nowadays.
