Purpose
- This page allows configuration of general system parameters of Maxpro NVR SE
What can be configured?
- Recording settings like pre-event, record for and user based recording time
- Email related general settings
- Recording recycle threshold and low alarm threshold
- Graphical representation of disk space where clips are stored
- For scheduled recording holiday list and exception list can be defined
Key points to remember
- ‘Low disk space’ alarm is raised depending on Low alarm threshold value
- Recording recycle threshold and low alarm threshold is specified as percentage of total available disk space
Camera tab
Purpose
- Cameras to be connected to the NVR are configured in this page
What can be configured?
Discovery
- Digital cameras can be discovered and added in the system by using Discover pane
General Configuration
- New Camera can be configured by specifying name, Streamer type, Fixed/PTZ and Video Quality setting (resolution, frame rate, compression)
- Web client can be launched from Camera Advanced Settings
Preview
- User can view live video from the configured camera
Key points to remember
- NTSC/PAL can be set for discovered and added cameras
- Username and password can be set for PSIA cameras.

Purpose
- Recording schedules can be added

- For each Input which output to be triggered

Key points to remember
- On camera addition number of Inputs and outputs are added automatically based on Camera type.
Sequence tab
Purpose
- Sequence allows monitoring set of cameras repetitively with each camera video shown for a specific dwell time
What can be configured?
- User can associate/remove a camera from the sequence and change the order of camera
- User can add a PTZ camera multiple times with a specific preset to the sequence
- User can also have combination of fixed cameras and PTZ cameras with preset
User tab
Purpose
- Defining set of users who can access the system is defined in this page
What can be configured?
- System supports role based user management
- Camera privilege can be provided for specific user by associating cameras to those users
- Email notifications for Maxpro NVR alarms, camera alarms and I/O can be configured in this page

Surrounding Camera
What is it? - View video from a group of related cameras at the same

How to setup? - Select the Surrounding Camera layout- Drag drop camera in this layout and save the layout
What are key points to remember? - Select the camera in the Central panel for which you
want to associate surrounding cameras
