Galaxy Mall Tianjin, China - World’s largest high-end shopping mall with ice rink and IMAX theaters• Led and won the design competition of this 350,000 m2 mega mall project• Conceived design options of glass crystal, the focus of the entire project to get government’s approval• In charge of the coordination with Chinese client, Tianjin government officials, local design institute,

and various consultants.

• Analyzed and decomposed intricate building geometry to three basic variables, scale, twist and displacement

• Optimized structural force distribution and standardized curtain wall panel dimension

• In charge of the interior space design of Hotel Tower, one of the four iconic buildings

• Collaborated with local design institute and government officials to help launch company’s first convention center project in China

• Conceived multiple design options of registration hall to address client’s concern

• In charge of 3d computer modeling, renderings, elevations, sections, and facade details of the entire project

• Converted a vacant exhibit hall to a profitable multi-purpose ballroom

• Collaborated with mechanical engineers to redesign duct layout, minimize plenum space, and maximize leasable space value

Business Pearl, Parcel 13Dubai, UAE

• Managed the design and documentation of Parcel 13, the switch from residential purpose to office function alone

• In charge of the 3d coordination of the entire Business Pearl project, a man-made island comprised of more than 30 skyscrapers and involved more than 50 in-house designers
