Rest In Peace

Please pray for the repose of the souls of

Maxine Farrell, mother of parishioner Sue

Brown and for Charles Pixler. May their

souls and all of the souls of the faithfully de-

parted through the mercy of God rest in

peace.

Prayers for 3orma Last week Norma McCorvey died at the age of 69. She is

often described as 'Roe' in the famous Roe vs Wade case

that tragically legalized the murder of over 58 million ba-

bies. Norma deeply regretted being used by the lawyers,

converted to Christian beliefs and became deeply pro-life.

Please keep her soul in your prayers. To learn more about

her challenging life, please check out her book in our par-

ish library. Online you can read: http://

ehmteecee.wordpress..com/ 2017/02/19/morethanroe/

A Lenten Journey Inspired by St. Benedict Did you know that St. Benedict considered spiritual read-

ing a form of prayer? He even went so far to require his

monks to read one book a month during Lent. Perhaps this

is an example you could personally follow for your Lenten

development. Please visit the parish library...we have many

options to choose from and we use a self check-out system

for your convenience. The library is open after all weekend

Masses.
