The four fully rated pole system is modular in construction to give varing busbar widths. IP55 Sheet Steel Enclosed Automatic Transfer Systems

The growing demand for standby power in industrial, commercial and domestic environments has created a need for a flexible solution to Automatic Transfer Switching. The Switchgear Systems Ltd ATS panels listed here provide the standard building blocks from which we can customise an automatic transfer solution to suit your needs.

Mains to Mains ATS PanelsM2M ATS panels are designed for applications where there are two permanently available power supplies or a supply taking two differing routes in a building for emergency backup.

These panels feature:

• A control relay monitoring total power failure, phase failure andvoltage variation of the primary supply 415V (adjustable ± 5 to ± 20 %).

• LED indication on the relay to aid set up.

• AC1 rated mechanically and electrically interlocked contactors.

• External LED status indication of supply healthy.

Panel operation:

• Upon total power or phase failure of the primary supply,changeover is immediate with a 3 second return delay.

• Upon phase failure and voltage variation of the primary supply, there is a delay timerto avoid nuisance tripping (adjustable 0.1 to 10 seconds) with a pre set 3 minute monitoring period before return.

Mains to Generator ATS Panels

M2G DS705 ATS panels are designed for applications where the primary mains supply is backed up by a standby generator. The panel supplies a “Generator Start Signal” which is connected through the negative of the generator remote start input.

*Note: All panels need a continuous DC supply to power the processor. This is normally taken from the generator battery, hence the control voltage has been selected to match the normal battery voltage. Other voltages can be catered for and alternative built in or stand alone maintainable power sources can be supplied.

These panels feature:

• AC1 rated mechanically and electrically interlocked contactors.

• Micro processor based configurable graphic interface providing:

- Auto, Manual OFF load and Manual ON load modes. - Adjustable under voltage limits for mains fail and return. - Configurable mains fail and return timers. - Adjustable generator warm up and cool down timers. - External LED status indication of supply healthy and in use. - Generator start signal. - Front of panel set up.

• Generator start signal connection.

• Remote generator start signal terminals.

• Remote close down terminals.

Panel operation:

• Auto Mode – Upon detection of mains failure the unit sends a start request to the generator control unit. Once the generator output is within limits the load will be switched to the generator. Upon mains return within limits the unit will switch the load to the mains.

• Manual Off Load Mode – This is used to manually start and run the generator off load formaintenance testing.

• Should the mains supply fail in this mode, then the load is transferred to the generator automatically.

• Manual On Load Mode - This mode is used to manually start and run the generator on load.
