JESSE DARLING MANAGER, POLICY INNOVATION PLATFORM As Manager, Policy Innovation Platform, Jesse draws upon her design experience to collaborate with government, non-profit, academic, and community partners to co-design initiatives that bring human insights into the policy development process and service design experience. She builds and leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver on a diverse portfolio of projects and leads partnership development, helping policy professionals better understand how the Policy Innovation Platform can contribute to creative problem solving. This role builds off her previous experience at Evergreen CityWorks, the Martin Prosperity Institute, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Jesse is the 2018-2019 Co-Chair of CivicAction’s Emerging Leaders Network, sits on the Board of Jane’s Walk and, in 2017, she was selected as a Canadian delegate at the Next Leaders’ Initiative for Sustainability. Jesse has a Business Degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Science in Urban Planning from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning at University College London.
