Malnutrition is an barrier to development, and itspresence indicates that basic physiological needshave not been met. What is observed as malnutritionis not only the result of insufficient or inappropriatefood, but also a consequence of other conditions, such as poor water supply and sanitation and a highprevalence of disease. Thus reversing the procedureis complex, because many issues need to beaddressed more or less simultaneously. And everysituation is different, so that there is no singlesolution for all.
