was God’s glory and if He was the true god to be worshipped and followed (SWhen we pray for God’s kingdom to come on earth, we pray that God would be both recognized and serveIf theady been received?The idea here is that for one who has received Christ, the word is implanted into his/her spirit BUT that does not mean God’s Word has become a living priority in life!The Word of God in our lives has movement:First, the Word of God must be implanted.Then, the Word of God must become important.Finally, the Word of God must be implemented. Underline what the implan-death, but freedom from anger, etc.We hit the ground praying for provision and pardon. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  Underline what the implan-death, but freedom from anger, etc.15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Text Message:Notice how James seamlessly moves from healing from sickness to forgiveness.He is not only thinking like a good Hebrew (Isaiah 1:5, 18-20), but following in Jesus’ footsteps (Mark 2:5).

Hearing God’s Word is not the destination, but a rest stop along the way!Seven times in the Gospels Jesus says, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”The idea with both Jesus and James is to hear inWe hit the ground praying for protection. We can do what brings God pleasure and glory.   8 Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the LORD.

o Find out what pleases the Lord.  Ephesians 5:10, NIV o In other words, it may take some praying and probing!o Most often when we’re spinning our wheels, there is a God

priority that has been neglected!o Trust God to show you how to get back on track!o God’s ultimate purpose is for His Name to be glorified!

It’s what life is about now, and what will last forever! o Here instructions are given to live out the “deliver us from evil”
