Our core business activity is shipping agency as general agent, sub agent and owner protective agency, ship management and cargo & container handling.

KS Maritime Indonesia renders world class services to Cargo Vessel, Container & Bulk Carrier, Full & Semi Container, Tug & Barge, Anchor Handling Tug Supply, RO-RO Carrier, Oil Product Tanker & Chemical tanker. We operates under SOLAS 74, MARPOL, Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) and IMO-(STCW), ISPS Code operating with International Standard to describe the activities and controls necessary to ensure the Agency Departments operations consistently meet the requirements of the Principals.

KS Maritime Indonesia with its extensive networking with Sub-Agents and Stevedoring for cargo & container handling throughout Indonesia is fully capable to meet Principal requirements to arrange and co-ordinate a ‘crew change’ and Port Agency / Liner Operation staffs to ensure that they have full instructions from the Principal. The following services to be undertaken:

• Enquiries are to be made with Immigration on the Indonesian visa requirements for joining crew.

• Crew transportation and accommodation are to be organised as per requirements.

• Off signing crew air tickets are to be arranged – unless organised by the Principal.

• Port Authority/Port Immigration/Port Customs regulations to be followed for all joining and off signing crew.

The General Agency has overall responsibility as follows : • Sub/Local Agency • Owner Protecting Agency • Operations • Marketing and Cargo Handling • Documentation • Port Disbursement Account

A Sub-agent is appointed by the Agency Operational Manager. The Sub-agent forwards a ‘Pro-forma’ Disbursement account to KS Maritime Indonesia. This is reviewed by the Agency – Operational Manager. Disbursement staff prepares a ‘Payment Request’ to the Agency to be checked, approved and signed by the Agency –Operational Manager prior to execute payment.

For owners with vessel trading in Indonesian waters or where their vessels regularly call Indonesia, KS Maritim Indonesia can offer their Protective Agency. This procedure describes the activities and controls necessary to ensure that owner vessels are handled according to the Principal’s requirement as described in the Protective Agency
