This behavior will be controlled by a new permission. Please contact your Kronos representative if you need this permission added to your roles. This is resolved. Users with the new permission can edit the number of openings with re-opening a requisition.

Announcement of the achievement of website accessibilityIn January 2017, the U.S. Access Board issued the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Standards and Guidelines, updating its existing Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, (“508 Standards”), and the Telecommunications Act Accessibility Guidelines under Section 255 of the Communications Act of 1934 (“255 Guidelines”). The new standards and guidelines harmonize with worldwide standards such as the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. GSA, the Federal CIO Council Accessibility Community of Practice (ACoP), and the Access Board jointly led the Section 508 Transition Support Initiative to help agencies transition from the Original 508 Standards to the Revised 508 Standards. These Standards are now in effect as of January 18, 2018.

Kronos has partnered with The Paciello Group (TPG), a leading expert in the field of implementing accessible user experiences in web applications and mobile apps, to thoroughly test and provide recommendations for the Workforce Talent Acquisition product.

While the Section 508 standards are written specifically for government contractors under the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), all Kronos clients can benefit from the website accessibility changes which allow applicants using assistive technology to access the Workforce Talent Acquisition product.

CA-12708 Kronos is expanding the use of the CAPTCHA functionality that was added in SR73 in conjunction with our ongoing efforts to maintain robust security for the Workforce Talent Acquisition product. In SR78, CAPTCHA will be added to the login pages for returning applicants to the Candidate Experience. Please contact your Kronos representative if you have any questions. NOTE: The term CAPTCHA is an acronym for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.” A CAPTCHA is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass, but current computer programs cannot pass. For example, humans can read distorted text, while current computer programs are not able to decipher this. The code was updated to add CAPTCHA to all login pages for the Candidate Experience.

System RequirementsClients understand and agree that the services shall only be supported on equipment and networks that comply with the technical requirements specified in this section.

General requirements• Kronos Workforce Acquisition offers support for the services on the web browsers listed in the following table.

• Kronos reserves the right to discontinue support of the services using a web browser or operating system platform or version when the supplier of such browser or operating system platform or version discontinues its own technical support. In such event, Kronos Workforce Acquisition’s discontinuation of support of its services using the supplier’s discontinued platform or version shall be effective as of the next general release of the services.

• Customizations of supported browsers are not supported. Beta versions of Web browsers and operating systems are not supported.

• Kronos Workforce Acquisition shall provide customers with reasonable assistance in troubleshooting services issues on equipment using the non-supported products; however, Kronos Workforce Acquisition’s assistance shall be limited to what it can resolve in connection solely with the services and shall not include analysis, determination of, or resolution of issues apparently caused by the non-supported products.

• Some of the applications require that Workforce Acquisition link to external URLs, for example US Government forms such as I-9 and W-4 forms. Clients should add those URLs to their lists of accepted sites to ensure that they can access the appropriate external URLs.

access to the kronostm.com domain.

• Firewalls must allow outbound traffic to TCP ports 80 and 443 for HTTP and HTTPS communication.

• JavaScript must be enabled.

• Ιnternet connection must be at least 56kbps.

• Cookies must be enabled.

• Popup blockers must be disabled.

System Requirements

Kronos Confid

entia

l

HMC-specificIn addition to the minimum system requirements, the following requirements must be met for the HMC:

• Acrobat Reader must be installed. Form preview requires Acrobat Reader (version 8 and higher) for viewing PDFs.

• Screen resolution must be at least 1024 by 768.

• Internet connection must be at least 56kbps.

• Ιf the Onboarding module is implemented, an Internet connection of at least 256kpbs is required, and that Internet connection must consist of a dedicated bandwidth and be constantly available (that is, a satellite connection is not recommended).

• If using Citrix, Citrix Presentation Client 10.x or higher is required (Workforce Acquisition works only with versions of Citrix supported by its manufacturer).

• To access the HMC, customers must allow access to *.kronostm.com or wfa.kronostm.com.

• The Document Management feature uses the URL dm.kronostm.com to access the document editor functionality in Document Management.

– Customers who allow access to *.kronostm.com can access the Document Editor. – Customers who specify an exact site name must either add an additional site dm.kronostm.com or

enable *.kronostm.com to loosen their restrictions and allow all sites within the Kronos domain.

Candidate Experience site-specificScreen resolution must be at least 800 by 600.

If job preview videos are implemented, additional requirements for a video plug-in may be needed.

26 Kronos Incorporated

System Requirements

Kronos Confid

entia

l

Recommendations for optimal performance• If the client is trying to fit the entire Candidate Experience site in an Iframe, there may be additional branding

requirements that must be met.

• For the HMC Internet connection:

– 128kpbs dedicated bandwidth is preferred.– Customer understands and acknowledges that the Services, when accessed over a satellite Internet

connection, will be moderately or significantly degraded when compared to the Services being accessed over a terrestrial Internet connection, and use of the Services over a satellite connection may be unacceptably slow. Kronos will not be responsible for response or performance issues of the Services related to such use.

• There are scenarios when usability in the HMC might be affected at screen resolutions lower than the minimum 1024 by 768. For example:

– If excessive toolbars are used, or if the browser is not maximized.– If Onboarding is implemented and PDFs are generated, it is assumed that the user’s screen resolution

meets the minimum requirements. • Some pages in the Applicant Detail Report (ADR) use the thickbox modal dialog box. This dialog box is sized

to fit a 1024 by 768 window. If the screen resolution does not meet that size requirement, problems could occur.

E-mail client• Clients often setup strong anti spam tools or settings on their corporate e-mail servers to tag and reject email

that is marked as their corporate domain from a non-authorized e-mail server (email spoofing). The Kronos Talent Acquisition product may send system emails using client corporate email addresses. The emails may be rejected by the anti spam settings on the client’s corporate e-mail servers. To avoid this issue, an IT configuration change can be made to add an SPF record entry on the client’s domain name system (DNS) server. The configuration change needs to be completed by the client’s IT resources. In order to make this change, the client’s current SPF value should be amended to “include:unicru.com”. For example: v=spf1 mx include:unicru.com -all.

• SMTP- and POP-based e-mail clients, using plain text and HTML, are supported.

Data transfers• File encryption of OpenPGP (encrypted, unsigned files) is required.

• SFTP file transfer protocol is required.
