Culinaire uitstapjes op ‘de Fred’Enjoying a culinary treat on ‘The Fred’

The sizable glass walls on two, and in some apartments three, sides offer wonderful views over the green areas, the city and/or the beach and the sea. The marvellous space allows for several options in arranging your sitting area and open/partly open kitchen. As the kitchen only consists of a number of connection points, you can largely decide on the design of your kitchen yourself. Choose, for example, a work or cooking island. Each apartment has a large terrace or roomy covered balcony with utmost privacy, one to three bedrooms with high glass walls, and a luxurious bathroom with bath and/or separate shower. If your preference is for a multi-room apartment but only one bedroom, then incorporate the master bedroom into the living area. You can make a sizable work space or lounge, or turn it into a dining area.

There are no unnecessary adornments, thereby emphasising the symmetry and austere minimalism of the design – not to mention the beautiful warm natural stone! This stone gives both buildings a luxurious and elegant look, and creates frameworks for the large windows that provide unrestricted views on two or three sides in virtually every residence. The windows are placed slightly inwards, causing recesses in the natural stone façade and creating a unique contrast when struck by different forms of angled light. Thanks to staggered roof lines, the buildings take on a less massive appearance and make it possible for many of the apartments to have a terrace.

Houtrust bids you a warm welcome!The entrances to both Groot Houtrust and Klein Houtrust cover two entire floors and exude an atmosphere that is nothing short of extraordinary. The slate floors, unusual glass mosaics on the walls and the wooden ceiling panelling give a sense of grandeur to the entrances and a very warm welcome to tenants and visitors alike. Both residential buildings have several lifts, so that you never have to wait long to come home. The entrance doors can be easily opened using a remote control on your house key.

Safety and comfortThe central entrance halls are fitted with a videophone system, so you can see who is at the door of your apartment. Visitors are only able to enter the building with your permission. You have a locked private storage area in the garage beneath the complex, and you have your own fixed parking space. If desired, you can purchase an extra parking space. The garage at Groot Houtrust has an ingenious system which allows two cars to be parked, one above the other. The garage is only accessible by residents. A lift carries you quickly from the garage to your apartment.
