An extensive dining remodeling process — the culmination student surveys — will be completed this fall. Riverview Café with Mongolian Wok-style service to go with several popular dining options. The restaurant icon Chick-fil-A was chosen through student surveys to replace Nellie’s, and a convenience store and smoothie bar are being added. Nimnicht Fitness Center provides a picturesque view overlooking the John Sessions baseball stadium and Romesburg Riverfront, and includes group fitness classes. Davis Commons/Kinne University Center A $6.5 million, 32,000-square-foot “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (LEED) GOLD certified facility; opened in 2010. The region’s premier marine science research and education facility focusing on the St. Johns River and coastal region. Collaboration between JU, the St. Johns Riverkeeper, Duval County Public Schools, Jacksonville Marine Charities, City of Jacksonville, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. Adding a state-of-the-art floating classroom with lab stations in fall 2013; with companion dock serving marine science, sailing and crew. • TheSwisherGolfPracticeFacilitywasdedicatedin2012andisusedbythemen’sandwomen’sgolf

teamstohelptaketheirprogramstothenextlevelincompetitionandrecruiting.Itisopenyear-round

andallowsplayerstoworkonshotsupto165yards.

• TheLarryStromAmphitheatreonDolphinGreenisbigenoughformedium-sizedbandsonuptothe
