It moved to Glebe and became Glenmore Meats – known by some as ‘carnivore heaven’. It has just closed down – permanently - after selling meat at discount prices to Glebe and Pyrmont locals for all these years. It will be sorely missed by those of us who regularly stocked up with provisions for the fridge and freezer. The site has been sold to a developer for $23.58 m. BIKE SHARE EPIDEMIC Will passive boating survive in Blackwattle Bay? Dockless bike share schemes have been introduced in high- density centres. One company hopes to have 6000 bikes on Sydney’s streets by the end of this year. Another is predicting similar numbers. Their websites say they should be left at bikeracks but they have been left standing on the footpaths of Jacksons Landing and greater Pyrmont to advertise the scheme.
