• One would like to see top 10 municipal ( local government) risk by likelihood and consequence for the simple reason that the local government is the front line of government which is characterised by service delivery protects perhaps the time has come for the institute to begin engage with all relevant stakeholders within the local government arena to provide a long lasting solution to the country problem of service delivery.

Also the Government is asking for SME's to provide employment within SA. I would like more

of a focus on the risks specifically for SME's. (3) • Racial Conflicts as a risk • Recommendations as to how risks can be addressed in the South African AND African context. • Recommended Risk Appetite per industry i.e. Considering various aspect in the Government and/or Public Sector, a recommended

In a business this is typically done via the time lines of the risk governance and

Board Committee time lines. For a country, it is important to maximise the input by trying to influence the country equivalent to the Board / Exco, namely the Cabinet and as such influence the budget allocation / speech. As such it is suggested that the report be timed in such a way that it be made available for integration intone state risk report for consideration by Cabinet."

report for each sphere of government as these spheres are managed differently by virtue of them being autonomous to another, these reports should also include experts recommendations to improve the effectiveness of risk management in each sphere of government
