Endowments at UF

The University of Florida’s endowment portfolio includes more than 2,700 individual funds, each with its own set of instructions regarding the purposes to be supported.

A fund may be established for a specific purpose or for unrestricted general support.

The total endowment portfolio at the University of Florida is approximately $1.45B.

Endowments at UF-UFICO

University of Florida Investment Company was created by the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida in June 2004 to oversee the investments of the University of Florida.

UFICO is governed by a separate Board of Directors composed of Directors appointed by the President of the University.

UFF seeks to achieve an annualized real rate of return of at least 4.7% net of fees.
