The Intellio Video System 2 software package, developed for Intellio smartcameras, is both for video management and NVR (network video recorder) purposes, too. The Intellio Video System 2 management software because of Intellio Streaming technology and its efficient system architecture concept, is featured by high scalability, redundancy and economical and balanced handling of resources.

The Intellio Video System 2 is an open, ONVIF-certified management software, which has a Profile S certification from version 2.4 and up.The scope of ONVIF-compatible cameras keeps expanding with the Intellio system now supporting the ONVIF-enabled cameras of all major manufacturers - Bosch, Samsung, Axis, Sony, Hikvision, Vivotek – along with the cameras of a number of other manufacturers.

Load Balancing Load Balancing divides the network load evenly among servers. By enabling this feature the servers storage use will be more balanced out while the system’s overall reliability improves, and response times become shorter.

Camera Take Over This feature ensures that in the event of a server failure recording is not interrupted. Other servers within the site automatically take over the cameras of the failed server for recording.

Secure Storage Of Images – The Redundant System Of Intellio

By virtue of its redundant solutions, the Intellio surveillance system offers outstanding reliability, resulting in no images lost in case of outages or server failure. In addition, the system boasts a high degree of fault-tolerance without requiring additional hardware.

The Load Balancing feature of the Intellio management software is aimed at balancing the network load among Intellio Site servers in an optimal way. When the Master server detects increased network traffic due to, e.g. changes in cameras settings or intensifying motion in the camera’s view, the cameras of the server under increased load are automatically transferred to other, less loaded servers.

The Load Balancing feature does not only result in a balanced network load of Intellio servers, but also in an optimal storage capacity usage, eliminating the possibility – in case of identical storage capacity – of some servers being able to record footage for a shorter amount of time than others.

Automatic Camera Take OverShould a server become unaccessible due to network or server failure, the Camera Take Over function allows the other servers on the Site to automatically take over the cameras of the failed server, thus recording will go on uninterrupted. In order for the remaining servers to take over the cameras of the failed server, the servers must have sufficient available capacity (free input channel) for accommodating all the cameras from the failed recorder.

Secure user authenticationThe system allows for defining an infinite number of users, each with their unique user name and password. The activity of each user in the system is logged while they are logged in (exporting footage, system settings). Encryption, user identification and system logging can often prevent a system sabotage or in case of illegal system actions the perpetrators can be easily identified.

Sabotage protectionThe system sends an immediate alarm in case a camera is influenced, attacked, moved, covered or loses contact with the server.

Advanced storage system: Emergency buffer and the SD card/USB modeBesides, the S series camera, which are capable of local recording. If the SD card mode enabled the camera can automatically switch to local recording mode (SD card) in case of a network error, then once the network is back up and running again, the stored footage can be transmitted to the server. Thus, longer network downtimes will not cause data loss.

All of the cameras in the network can be visualized on a 3D map, giving operators an overview of the entire site.

Prior to the search, the required detector has to be specified, such as a tripwire, entry, direction or intelligent motion detector.

Based on binary search principles. This function is working on the footage recorded by any type of camera.

The Intellio Mobile Client application allows for playback and monitoring of the cameras from an iOS or Android mobile device.

The Intellio client allows for tracing a specific security event by narrowing down the time interval between specific events.

• AllserversofaparticularSitemusthavethesamemodules, except for license plate recognition (IVS-ANPR). Within a single Site, licenses purchased for individual servers are combined, therefore their allocation across the Site bears no significance.

• SitesonvariousnetworksorindependentIntellioservers can be organized into a domain using the IVS-DOMAIN module.

• The IVS-BASE base module offers integration with a software key. The management software can also be used with a hardware key after purchasing an IVS-KEY.
