This competition may be used to establish a 6 month eligibility list of qualified candidates for future vacancies. DUTIES Reporting to the Chair of the Construction Trades department, the Instructor is required to deliver both the theoretical and practical aspects of painting and decorating to all apprenticeship levels. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to, trade safety, tools and equipment, painting techniques, wall coverings, surface analysis and remedies. Duties include, but are not limited to: development and modification of curriculum, conduct student assessment and counseling, perform lab and classroom facility design and setup, maintain lab and classroom equipment and perform related administrative responsibilities as required.
