Cheese Paring: La Tur – Piedmont Italy (Goat, Cow & Sheep)

Great balance with bright acidity are the trademark of this wine. The Bien Nacido Y Block Chardonnay is barrel fermented in 25% new Burgundy barrels, which frame the crisp apple and Asian pear flavors with a lovely savory, buttered toast finish.

Fermented entirely with naturally occurring yeast – this is an alternative style of sauvignon blanc that is both intricate and textural. A delicate combination of musky peach-skin aromatics and gentle citrus-blossom notes – a dash of lime cordial and a hint of saffron. The palate is lusciously herbal, long and refreshing with flavors of white nectarine flesh, dill and hints of fennel. The finish is succulent and crisp with almost a flinty dryness.
