INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGYStructural elements of metal and plastic.
INTRODUCTION:
We present and make available to the interested parties this new patent, with an innovative technology for the configuration of parts or elements made of plastic and metal with constructive ends.
The use of these novel materials signifies a new superior alternative for the construction market.
THE NOVELTYIt’s the unique granted patent in
the
world for composite materials for
construction in general consisting of a
plastic structure reinforced by an internal
metallic skeleton embedded inside, thus
achieving a multi-purpose structural
element made of metal and plastic with
properties which would not be possible
by using said materials separately.
The problem to be solved!
Replace the use of wood as well as reduce the use of steel in the construction of lightweight structures.
The Inventor & Owner Marino Enrique Sanchez NinaDominican architect and teacher from the Faculty of Architecture in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) University, in Dominican Republic. For over 25 years he has participated and directed the construction of several projects in his country.
With this experience and his knowledge, now dedicates part of his time to devise new solutions for the construction field, such as this new invention for the configuration of constructive elements applied and used in architecture and engineering.
TECHNICAL SUMMARYThe improved arrangement consists of a plastic enveloping casting surrounding an internal metallic structure such that the metallic structure is embedded in the plastic enveloping , resulting in a strong and light building element.
Example:Similar to composite materials made of Reinforced concrete (steel and
concrete).

PLASTICS IN THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION SECTOR
According to the information shown under the Use of plastics section of the Plastics Portal, the Portal of the EU’s Plastics Industry, that in 2010, the Building and Construction sector consumed 9.54 million tones of plastics (21% of total European plastics consumption), making it the second largest plastic application after packaging. And
this share is still growing.
WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN THIS PATENT?
Companies that
manufacture
plastic parts and
material related
to construction
and engineering,
who can exploit it
to its maximum.
Business intention
The patent is available for licensing or sale.
CONCLUSIONThe configuration of the composite materials presented here,
makes them the most practical and reliable combination of metal and plastic for construction in general. Plastic for lightness, and metal for strength.
The key is the arrangement of the elements.
The document’s legal scope comprises 2 basic points: the arrangement of the elements, and its multi-purpose characteristic, as it is clearly mentioned to be aimed for construction in general.
Due to the fact a patent has been granted in such different countries, and due to the patent’s legal protection and scope, it is an interesting asset for anyone who can exploit it.
