BALDIRAN:This plant likes shade and damp.It is called Hemlock in English. There are pain relieving properties,instead of vermidon you can boil Hemlock and drink it.

ISIRGAN:It is called Nettle in English.Isırgan is an important plant for Turkish people.It is used for variety of purposes especially for medicinal ones.Beside this most people make foods from it.

Turkey  constitutes 75-80% production of nuts of the world market 

Total annual production of nuts ranged from 450.000 to 600.000 tons.

In Turkey,it is estimated that  around 400 thousand farmer's family and  totally 2 million people are interested in production of nuts.

Galdirik is a plant with stalked and  large green leaves,grows in the months of the spring and summer. It is collected freshly in these months and only main  part of the body can be eaten.

This is an example of local food made from Galdirik.It is called ‘Galdirik Mucveri’

According to academicians ,Hoşkıran consists of more Iron than spinach.

There are 40 different areas with the use of this plant in America,beside this there is Institute in Colombia.

Hoşkıran  has also vitamin A,C and calcium in terms of high values .

This is one of the most famous plant in our region.

Black Cabbage is rich in terms of vitamin C and includes minerals such as calcicum, potassium,sulfur,magnesium,iron,copper It is a very good protective against cancer 

but not recommended for patients with goiter.

In local it is called ‘PANCAR’

Tea is a type of beverage obtained by boiling  processed leaves .

The tea plant has a life span of a century. When  left to grow  in wild it turns into a tree view

It is always green and has leaves both in summer and winter.

It creates resources for the country’s economy about $ 300 million and the livelihood of a million people 

It is one of the most important plant for Black Sea Region.

It is called ‘MISIR’ in Turkish .

Hamsi is the most important type of fish in Black Sea Region

According to experts Hamsi is extremely rich in terms of iodine and has great benefits with the Development of Intelligence

These animals has an important role for the people who live in rural part of region

People mostly deal with animals and agriculture and they get benefit from them as meat and dairy products.

The shell lenght  can grow up to 1 meter. They feed on fish,crustaceans

and aquatics(especially marine mothers) They are protected because of the

danger of extinction
