Our target audience was Marketers, so we looked at companies targeting the same audience as us in order to get “inspiration”

We knew that we could get a list of these companies by looking at well-known marketing sites that they’re most likely buying media from…

We looked at Adweek.com, as they are a huge marketing site which we were already familiar with. So we went on their profile on AdClarity in order to see which companies, or advertisers, were buying media on it

We identified Exacttarget as being a company who targeted the same audience as us, without being our competitor

We identified business2community.com, a site that we have heard of but never bought media on, and opened their profile, only to discover:
