FRONT COVER, CONTENTS PAGE AND

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

Here is my final Front cover, Contents page and double page spread. I have used continuity by creating a house style throughout my product by: using the same font throughout my magazine, same colour scheme using 3 colours, making sure page numbers match contents features and the same artist is on my front cover, contents page and double page spread. This slide will show how I have created continuity throughtout my product.

SAME FONT THROUGHOUT MY

MAGAZINE

I have used a variety of font because I didn’t want the text to look blocky but I have made sure that I have used the same fonts throughout my magazine. The fonts that I have used are impact, Perpetua tilting MT, segoe script and Arial. The table shows how I have used these fonts on the different pages.

PAGE NUMBERS MATCH CONTENTS

FEATURES

Its important that the page numbers match the contents features as it locates the reader to the to the page that they want to read. Page numbers are conventionally placed at the bottom of the page in the corner as its easy to find when the readers are flipping through the pages. (The green circle on the pages are where they page numbers are located.)

SAME COLOUR SCHEME USING 3

COLOURS

My colour scheme is Red, black and grey table shows how the colours have been used throughout the pages. By having a colour scheme it gives the magazine a style and also it makes the magazine look professional and tidy as if 10 colours where used it would look messy and childlike.

SAME ARTIST ON MY FRONT COVER,

CONTENTS AND DPS

Using the same artist throughout my magazine by including them on the front cover, contents page and DPS creates continuity. By using a certain artist on the front cover it promises the readers that they will be included inside the magazine. The photos on the left hand side are the images that have been used on the front cover, contents page and DPS so because of this I have meet audience expectations.
