Johnson! Way to go Khalil and Zaria!

Rising Senior Justin Eboigbe has been

invited to the 2019 Under Armour

All-American Bowl! This is a game

where only the nation’s elite are

selected to compete. Justin’s

talent on the field has placed

him in the top echelon of

players with more than 40

Division I football scholarship

offers. Justin plays Defensive

End for the Panthers and has

made a strong impression on

coaches and the Under Armour

All-American Board.

Congratulations Justin! You are

the epitome of Panther Pride!

Three Panther Band students received scholarships for

college! Seniors Kevin Jackson, Seviero Ruiz, and

William Andrews received scholarships to Fort Valley

State University. Kevin and William received full

scholarships. This is simply another example of

Panthers taking it to the top! Great job Band Director

Mr. Doron Phillips on preparing these students for life

after high school. Congratulations and keep up the

good work!

On Wednesday, February 14, 2018, Forest Park High School

hosted its 2nd Annual College Fair sponsored by

Communities in Schools Atlanta. According to Mr. Quintin

Avery, CIS Coordinator at Forest Park High School, we

experienced a 60% increase in participation this year!

Students were instantly accepted and given scholarships to

schools such as Morehouse College, Texas A&M, Kennesaw

State University and Clayton State University. Not only did

we have participation from colleges and universities, the US

Army and US National Guard participated as well. This was

a great opportunity for students to explore post-secondary

educational options and CIS is always happy to assist!

Great job students!
