Lord God, you have created us to be in relationship with you. You love us and you desire us to seek after you. We give thanks for the other relationships you give us. As temples of the Holy Spirit, body and soul, we know that you want us to live holy and chaste lives in our actions, looks, talk, thoughts, and desires. We confess that we often fail. We are tempted to see people as objects rather than your image bearers. We indulge our own pleasure and self-gratification rather than respect the boundaries that you have set for us from the beginning of Creation. Forgive us, Lord. We pray that Jesus Christ might be the anchor in our marriages. We pray that holiness and purity may be the goal of those who are dating. In our interactions with one another, may we respect and see one another as God’s children. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (Based on Lord’s Day 41 of the Heidelberg Catechism)

Minnikota Youth and Dordt College would like to invite your 6th-8th graders to the 7th Annual Jr High Retreat April 7-9 at Inspiration Hills. Welcome to Hope Christian Reformed Church! “The Lord desires our presence in His house of worship-because we are his children. The morning service will be played at

1:00pm on Sunday and the evening service will be played at 10:00am on Thursday. Please send your bulletin announcements to [email protected] or you may place

WORSHIP NOTES Welcome to Hope CRC! As we worship today, are we open to be surprised by what God does in our lives? In Matthew 17:1-13, the disciples got a glimpse of Jesus in His transfigured glory. They fell to their faces in fear. In our lives, Jesus promises to change us as well. Pray for the Spirit’s work in our hearts that we will be changed. In the evening, Pastor Todd will be beginning a series on the book of Revelation. As we begin with the opening verses of Revelation 1:1-8, we are reminded that in all of the images and interpretations, one theme reigns over all. The victory is won! Jesus Christ is Lord and King! Let us worship God today!

THIS WEEK Viewpoints Bible study will meet tonight after the evening service. Van Voorsts are leading and Van Der Zwaags have lunch. Reminder: Come support the Youth Group with a family fun night at HCS on March 29th at 7PM! We will have games for all ages and root beer floats and sundaes! Free will donation will be directed to college student care packages.
